The why of conflict : The Palestinian perspective to India

We often see and read about the atrocities happening to the Palestinians at the hands of the dominant Israeli military and in the recent times, it has come down to a situation where it's even harder for one to read without shedding a tear. Unfortunately as people die out there, we as Indians can only be spectators and cry out for help or perhaps, learn from it.
The Jews of Israel right after the second world war in the late 1940s, made it clear to the world that they are not ready to share the land with the Palestinian Arabs, especially considering the fact that they had the British motivation of division. It eventually lead to the exodus of the Palestinians after a 6 day war to refugee camps in Jordan, The West Bank, Gaza strip etc.

The disputes never ended. The wars raged on from time to time and more Palestinian blood was spilt over as more Israeli dominance took over. As time went on, wars kept increasing. Almost every peace attempt had failed and countless lives were lost with more being on the Palestinian side. In 1948 Israel had even declared its independence and obviously the Arabs weren't happy about this and decided to fight back which led to their own destruction even more. So technically, the dug their own graves. Yet, the Israeli's need for dominance didn't seem to calm down and the attacks raged on and is raging even today. The question is, how can India as a nation look upto this? Is there anything we should learn? Are there any mistakes perhaps we shouldn't repeat that they did?

In a similar stage of events and during the same time, India had declared its Independence but the people of today's Pakistan, made it clear to the world and the Indian adminstration, that they weren't ready to share the land. Again, thanks to the British motivation for it. Instead was born, Pakistan. And not as fatal, but similar to the Israel Palestine conflict, a lot has happened between India and Pakistan too. Take in the case of Kashmir, unsolved issues going on even today. Many had thought the abrogation of article 370 would put an end to it, but acts of terrorism is still on the loose. The various peace treaties had failed. The Lahore bus route, an initiative taken by the Late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee came around as a backstab by the Pakistani terrorists in the form of the parliament attack. Should we be prepared? Perhaps we should. Because the war will never end. Not until the day men realise that our faith is the reason why people are losing hope rather than having them. Not until people realise that faith is dividing rather than uniting people. No matter the country, may it be Israel or Pakistan, it's more or less the same.

A group of people who didn't want to live peacefully with others just because of different faiths. Separating themselves as an independent state and yet a never ending attack on the neighbours to gain dominance. Many peace treaties and global interference that seems to fail. Acts of terrorism and vandalism throughout. Innocent people dying. And all for what? For protecting and glorifying your faith? How strong is your faith, when you have no faith in humanity? How glorious is your belief when you can't believe in a prosperous tomorrow?
In solidarity with victims of faith.

"The prediction where I would be happy to be wrong..." General Elections 2024.

With the General Elections 2024 reaching its final phases, its a guess that no one would get a prize for as to who is gonna come out of this as victorious. Irony dies a thousand deaths every time India is being referred to as the "World's largest Democracy" in the recent times. The oppression that has come down from the ruling side, aiding the fascist ideologies and agenda, have gotten so strong due to the imprints they have been slowly making over the past 10 years in such a way, that the right wing minions are now asking "Why not a dictatorship", "We don't need an election", "We don't want food, water or roads but only Mandir" to even much worse thoughts that are not only endangering the democratic nature of the country, but also that of a safety veil India used to provide for all. With the controversies surrounding the Ram Mandir construction and its historical facts, the mainstream debates are no longer about whether there was a

Education, Handwritten Assignments & a changing Constitution

"Change is the only constant" While the world paces towards the new era of technology, or in a situation where it's there already, institutions parting education seems to have forgotten to get on the bus to the 21st century. The millions of assignments that are being submitted everyday in colleges throughout the country, remains to stick to the age old method of handwritten submissions. In the age of artificial intelligence, sticking on to this system of educational practices has been doing nothing in favour to the students but has instead created a lacklustre in shaping the young minds into careers that demand more. What companies seek today are smart, enthusiastic and digitally well versed candidates who would ensure quick delivery of progress. Yet, an alarming number of colleges, including the professional ones, still stick to norms that are not just outdated but have become ancient. The legal fraternity in the state of the most literate people, seems to be

All I see are men - International Women's day

Perhaps the starting should be harsh, hard and strong. The biggest curse for women's rights today aren't the butt hurt patriarchal chauvinists, but those who are capitalising on it. For as long as women's rights aren't fully achieved, there shall always be millions of organisations that pretend to fight for it to prey on the fame such a movement provides. What people often don't look upon or wouldn't even try to understand the simple difference between a revolution and a movement. The latter is only a beginning for the former and to achieve the deprived rights, what's required is a revolution. Unfortunately the million pretentious activist organisations seem to engage in the temporary movements rather than even try to ignite a spark for a revolution. 2023 Women's day was no different and the same has simply been a movement rather than spark a revolution. The state sponsored women's day programs had a colorful taste while mixed with Holi. What the gov
